The two sisters and their mother Aysha arrived in Denmark in November 2015 after having travelled from Aleppo in Syria in September. Photographer Georgios Makkas followed the journey of Aysha and her children as they arrived on the Greek island of Lesbos and then made their way to Munich in September 2015.
