Mother and child in the unrecognised Bedouin village of Al Zarnock in the Negev desert. Around 75,000 Bedouin people who live in this region are in unrecognised villages. The villages are not acknowledged by the state of Israel, and lack basic infrastructure, nor do they appear on any offical maps of the country.
