An elderly couple return to the village with a trailer loaded with earth after a day farming the fields. Every year millions of rural dwellers migrate to cities seeking work while the elder generation are left to maintain their farms. The migrants send wages back to support their families and return to their communities for a family reunion once a year to celebrate Chinese New Year together.
