15-year-old Sangita stands in the remains of what was her room which partly survived the earthquake.<br />
'I was at home with my mother when the ground started shaking. We were frightened, but could not run out of the house, there was a lot of noise, everything was falling. We were hidden in a corner of the room until it was over. The wall collapsed just in front of my eyes, I thought this is the end.'<br />
Sangita returned to her home only a week after the earthquake to collect her clothes and things that survived. 'I am lucky that I’m still alive.... Our neighbours died, their bodies are still under the rubble.'<br />
