Diptych of the queue of people waiting in line to pay their final respects to Queen Elizabeth II, following her death on 8th September 2022. The queue stretched up to 10 miles along the South Bank of the Thames in London. Some people waited as long as 22 hours before reaching Westminster Hall in the Houses of Parliament where the Queen's coffin lay in state. More than 250,000 people viewed the Queen's coffin over a period of 4 days before her state funeral on the 19th of September.
