Arafat, having run away from the Madrassah (Madrasa) twice, is chained and kept in confinement during a lesson.  A Masdrassah is an Islamic religious school where separate classes of boys and girls are taught the Koran.  Madrassahs in Bangladesh are often attached to mosques and form a major part of the national education system.
