A man fans the flames as he smokes a batch of rats in burning straw. The rodents are considered a delicacy in the region and catching and processing them is an activity that is passed down through the generations, with many of the hunters having learnt this skill at a young age. Smoked rats are used for grilling and frying but they are also eaten fresh.
