A family looks for the things that survived the earthquake in the rubble of their home in Golmadhi, Bhaktapur. <br />
'Even before the earthquake we lived very poorly' says Bajada, head of the family. 'Last week, we lost everything. Each thing that we can recover is important for us, all that we can find will serve us for many years. I can not imagine that we will have a new home anytime soon, maybe my sons will be able to earn money for the construction of the new house when they grow up.'<br />
On 25 April 2015 a powerful earthquake of 7.8 magnitude struck central Nepal, causing widespread destruction and killing approximately 7,760 people (29 April estimate).
