Spanish journalist Emilio Silva, founder of the Association for the Recovery of Historical Memory, a group that has spent years looking for the places where victims of repression during the Spanish Civil war and the subsequent dictatorship were buried. Silva is photographed in Colmenar Cemetery beside a plaque that commemorates the death by firing squad of 107 people in 1939, at the end of the Spanish civil war.<br />
The plate is placed inside the cemetery near a mass grave in the corner where lie the bodies of these 107 people.
