A decorated animal skull, used by those who practise Shamanism. Shamans, religious figures called upon to explain and solve misfortunes that strike their community, have existed in this region for centuries. According to the shamanic worldview, the world is divided into a real world and an invisible one, the latter being a projection of the real world inhabited by spirits whose actions influence the life of humans. Shamans are believed to have the power to see the invisible world and communicate with spirits.
