''In France it is red, but I am a ginger girl. I am not the only ginger but we are quite rare compared to the UK. The British people are very nice and welcoming toward me. You are not proud of it in France, you get a lot of nasty comments growing up. Now I can say I am proud. Red heads have always been quite a fantasy, we were witches and magical human beings.''<br />
'Ginger' people from across the world attend Red Head Day UK in Angel, London on 12 September 2015.
