The concrete plant "Tomas Beton" of businessman Igor Pleshkov has suspended its work due to interruptions in the supply of cement, after Lithuania's ban on goods from Russia, a sanction resulting from the Russian invasion of Ukraine.<br />
The plant, employing 300 employees, could produce up to 1,000 cubic meters of concrete per day. As a result of the closure many construction companies and private construction sites temporarily froze construction.
