Children line up outside their classrooms at Sinazongwe school. Many of the farming families here were forcibly moved from their old land which was flooded to create the Kariba dam Hydro Electric station. All the water from the dam is pumped 30km from the lake to the mining town of Maamba, leaving nothing for the nearby villages.
