Schab Ga, aged 23, looking at clothes in the Bang Lan market. It is the first time that she has been to a market. Schab Ga is part of a group of 39 people who have been hiding out in the northern Cambodian forest region of Virachey in the northeast province of Rattanakiri for the last 25 years. The group went into hiding because they were scared of being killed in the fighting between the Khmer Rouge and the Vietnamese. This photograph was taken about a week after the group first re-emerged from the forest.
