A child on a bicycle passes the gates of the Senator Obama Kogelo Secondary School, which was recently renamed in honour of Democrat Senator and US presidential candidate Barack Obama. Obama's father was born and brought up in the village of Nyangoma Kogelo, and his grandmother still lives here.
