Forestry workers sit together inside a steam train as it travels along the Mocanita railway. The narrow-gauge Mocanita railway, a former state-run CFF (Caile Ferate Forestiere) railroad, is the only operational forestry railway left in Romania. It is also the only means of transportation for forestry workers living in the remote villages of the Maramures region.
