The crowd scatters as the action kicks off outside the ring during a wrestling show put on by a troupe of travelling fighters who go from village to village entertaining the residents. They stay in each village for about a week performing each night, charging around 500 CDF (0.24 GBP) for each entrance, before moving onto the next destination. The rural villages where they pitch up are usually starved of entertainment and the wrestlers are a popular diversion for the locals.
