The city of Marbella on Spain´s southern coast has become an oasis of luxury and indulgence in a country deeply affected by the crippling economic crisis that has led to widespread foreclosures and an unemmployment rate of over 26%. The city's sunny weather and extensive tourist infrastructure complete with a marina for yachts and numerous golf courses has become a magnet for Russian and Gulf money.
