British Merlin helicopter practice in the Arctic, picking up loads in the terrain near Bardufoss, Norway.

In 2019 the Arctic exercise Clockwork passed 50 years of training in Norway, and now has a permanent base within the Norwegian Air Force base at Bardufoss.

845 Naval Air Squadron is a squadron of the Royal Navy's Fleet Air Arm. Part of the Commando Helicopter Force, it is a specialist amphibious unit operating the Commando Merlin Mk3 helicopter and provides troop transport and load lifting support to 3 Commando Brigade Royal Marines.
