Jaya, the Owner of Paradise International, one of around 800 recruitment agencies in Kathmandu. He accepted fees of up to NR150,000 (GBP 1,012) to arrange jobs with Mercury MENA. He said he was fighting for justice for the workers but admitted to not calling the company or the Qatari or Nepali governments for over a year.
