Fishermen out on Lake Mweru prepare their fishing traps which use lamps to attract small fish.

At around five o'clock in the afternoon, fishermen prepare to go out on Lake Mweru. They use floating oil lamps to attract small fish at night. In the morning they return to land with their catch. The fish, a sardine-like variety, are a delicacy sold as far away as Lubumbashi.
