Recently, the previously unknown Somali women's basketball team provided one of the biggest surprises in the All Arab Games in Qatar: they won several games. Back home in Mogadishu, the war-torn capital of Somalia, they risk their lives for their passion. And they are convinced that basketball in the Horn of Africa has an important role to play in the struggle for peace.
