The interest for mountain bike races has exploded in Norway the last few years, particularly with middle age affluent men. The biggest is called Birken, a race of 94,6 km and 14.500 participants, and was fully booked in 41 seconds. Birken will run on Aug 28th 2010. These pictures are from two other races, Grenserittet and Kongerittet, which many use as practice for the big race.
