Democratic Voice of Burma is radio and TV station run by exiled Burmese. Opposing the government, the DVB has been transmitting, from the Norwegian capitol Oslo, into Burma since 1992. The film Burma VJ, about DVBs videojournalists, was nominated for an Oscar in 2010.
