Nhem Ein, the Khmer Rouge photographer at the S-21 detention centre at Tuol Sleng, where over 16,000 inmates were killed between 1975 and 1979. He joined the Khmer at the age of 10, and is pictured here at about 16 years old. He was tasked with photographing every prisoner before they were killed.
