Juvenille inmates look through the bars of their cell door in Pademba Central Prison. By law, minors cannot be incarcerated with older prisoners, but there are twenty children in the prison serving sentences ranging from 18 months to 4 years. Many of them suffer violence and sexual exploitation. They have no access to formal education and family visits are rare or non-existent..
