A view from the bridge of the 'Fedor Ushakov', a multifunctional ice-breaking vessel moored in Murmansk prior to its navigation along the Northern Sea Route. The ship is designed to provide the year-round delivery of supplies to offshore oil platforms operating in waters off Sakhalin, and standby assistance for emergency cases. The vessel is able to hold 150 passengers, sufficient in the case of a platform evacuation.
