A Bauhaus style building at 37 Lilienblum Street built by architect Dov Kutchinsky in 1937. It currently houses the Bank of Israel. Tel Aviv is known as the White City in reference to its collection of 4,000 Bauhaus style buildings, the largest number in any city in the world. In 2003 the Bauhaus neighbourhoods of Tel Aviv were placed on the UNESCO World Heritage List. .
