A man wearing a shirt decorated with the Stars and Stripes and a picture of US President Barack Obama, gestures to fishermen at Boyoma Falls (known locally as Wagenia Falls). This is the last of seven cataracts below which the Lualaba River becomes the Congo. For generations members of the Wagenia tribe have fished here using great wooden scaffolds and traps in the same manner described by Henry Morton Stanley, after whom the falls were also once named, during his navigation of the Congo in 1874-77.
