Like most capitals, Oslo is usually busy on a Saturday night. But on the first weekend after Norwegian authorites introduced measures to combat the Coronavirus (COVID-19) the city was almost deserted.
Restriction on public gatherings, closure of schhols, new rules for those serving food and drinks, and fear of further spread of the virus compelled most bars and restaurants to close.
28,5 million passangers used the airport in 2018, with the airline Norwegian flying the most people. At teh time of writing Norweigan is on the verge of bankruptcy, and hoping to get governemnt aid to surive the economic crisis caused by the corona virus.
