Norwegian authorites introduced measures to combat the Coronavirus (COVID-19) leaving Gardermoen Airport, near the Norwegian capital Oslo, deserted. <br /> <br /> Restriction on public gatherings and travel have grounded most airplanes, and stopped nearly all domestic and foreign travel. <br /> <br /> Like most capitals, Oslo is usually busy on a Saturday night. But on the first weekend after Norwegian authorites introduced measures to combat the Coronavirus (COVID-19) the city was almost deserted. <br /> <br /> Restriction on public gatherings, closure of schhols, new rules for those serving food and drinks, and fear of further spread of the virus compelled most bars and restaurants to close. <br /> <br /> 28,5 million passangers used the airport in 2018, with the airline Norwegian flying the most people.
